Escape the not-so-beautiful weather in Piedmont and take a break from Piedmontese cuisine. That was our plan for Saturday. Our destination was the wonderfully pretty fishing village of Noli on the Ligurian coast near Savona. In glorious sunshine and 23°C, we enjoyed the sun, the sea, the wonderful fish at Ristorante da Giorgio and our first gelato of the season.
